My kids will never forget how cool of an experience they had with their grandpa. My dad is a mechanic. He is really good at what he does. He is honest and he knows his stuff and if more mechanics were like him there wouldn't ever be any fear of being ripped off. I am thinking of cloaning him.
So the first thing my dad did with the grandkids was set out 20 different types of tools. They had to study the tools and then take a test on it. All the kids did it and they all got a 100%. Then he set out 20 parts of an engine. They had to also study the parts and know them. Then he would teach them how to put the engine back together. The kids were amazing. They spent time learning all the parts and they all got perfect on that test as well. Here he is showing them how to put the engine back together.
Here they are. Some of them are taking the test.
Sara........I hope you are not peeking at someone's answers.
Here is the picture of them learning their tools.
DAD......thanks so much for coming up with some super creative things for the kids. I am pretty sure you have the smartest grandkids around. I am very impressed with how quickly they caught on and how sharp each of them are. I wonder if they can still remember the tools and parts of the engine. I thought this was the coolest thing. You are an awesome grandpa. I am pretty sure it is because grandma keeps you in line. Love ya and thanks again. They will remember this FOREVER.

That is amazing! What a great dad, and how fun for the kids to be making memories with their grandpa that they'll remember for a long, long time.
