We have some friends who are moving next week so we decided to go get them and have some play time before they leave. Nothing better than making a mud puddle in the garden and getting dirty. Standing in the mud. Now is this all we have to do to keep kids busy around here? Easy, cheap and definately fun.
He is sooooooooooooooo cute. He is only 2 and he talks like he is 4 or 5. He wasn't too into getting wet or dirty. He just kept telling me he wanted to go inside the house.
I wonder if they will still be clean in about an hour. They have been playing outside for quite awhile. They came in for some nachos and then right back out again. We love having friends come and play. I made some homemade play dough so when they get tired of playing outside we will have some inside fun. We will be sad to see our friends go but very happy for a new opportunity for them. We wish them the best of luck in their new area.

Hey, Lisa,
So I have been thinking about you lately. I miss having you around, but i am glad I can still try to keep up a bit through the blog connection.
Anytime you are up for a journey this way I would be happy to do some sewing together. I am no expert, but it would be fun. I have some fabric I want to make into some simple dresses for my girls, so it would be fun to experiment together. Besides, I bet that Maggie and Mayah would have a blast. I think they were just a bit young to really play together before you moved, but now... And, we could swap some healthy meal ideas too. I have been doing smoothies this week with oranges, bananas, strawberries, frozen berries, plain yogurt, and about two cups of fresh spinach and my kids LOVE them. Score. Maggie NEVER eats vegetables, especially raw! I love adding spinach to lasagna, squash to mac and cheese, lots of different creamy soups... I could go on, but I will spare you too long a comment.
Anyhow, just thought I would drop a note and say I would love to see you again sometime soon.
Hope you are all well.
Love, Emily
good friends are hard to come by and quite a treasure when you find them! glad you were able to spend some time before they move!
my Benjamin loves the mud!! My girls were the same way when they were little! now they prefer sprinklers over mud puddles though lol!
