WOW this is the longest I have ever gone without blogging. I know I have things to blog about but I guess I haven't taken the time. On Friday night we had the missionaries over for dinner. They are so awesome. They got here about 10 minutes early and I was getting everything finished up but they sat at the table talking to the kids. They were so good with them. They were hilarious and alot of fun. Rachel wanted to get all dressed up in her fancy clothes just for them. She put on a dress and her dress shoes. After Ethan saw how fancy she looked he thought he would get himself dressed too. I was still in the kitchen when I heard the missionaries busting up laughing. I had to go into the dining room to see what was so funny. Ethan had on his dress pants. He had a vest on and his suit jacket. NO SHIRT. And none of the buttons were buttoned. It was so funny. I had a picture but somehow it got deleted off the camera. You will just half to imagine.
The next day we rented a bush hog and Don cleared out all the wild blackberry bushes in the bag yard. There was a TON. He was outside for about 5 hrs. straight and even skipping dinner. We only had a certain amount of time to have the machine. It looks amazing. I have some before pictures but will have to get some after pictures later. It got too dark to take some that night and today was rainy and foggy. After pictures will come later.
The kids loved playing on the trailer that we had to rent to get the bush hog home. They spent alot of time playing on that. It was definately worth the $10 just for that. I am thinking the next time I want to entertain the kids I will just go and rent a trailer. :)

...and give the kids a cardboard box. toy? what toy?! they just want to play with the box!
Slacker, Lia. Seriously. What are you talking about? Could you choose a less accurate term to describe yourself?
Next time you take a week off to enjoy bubble baths and massages, leave the kids home for the weekend to go to the movies, and go a full week without washing any clothes, picking up the house, or fixing any food -- well, then we can start talking about whether you are a slacker -- or maybe just getting a well-deserved vacation!
