family

We had our 4th of July family reunion early this year.  My sisters family came from  Virginia but were not able to stay as long as normal so we bumped the reunion up early and had a lot of fun.  PLUS my little brother graduated from Dental school and passed his boards and we are all sooooo proud of him.  His wife really went all out making him a two tierd watermelon cake with tons of other fruit.  LOVED IT.  Check it out.....she cut the pineapple using a 'tooth' cookie cutter.  LOL.  There was a funny skit about dentistry put on by a couple of the kids. It was quite funny.  Good job Dr. McHargue.  It took a while to get where you are but you got there.....so proud of you.  Dad would be proud. 

We ate some GREAT food.  My brother made a homemade 'thing' to cook the gyro meat on.  It was really cool and delicious.  My brother in law bbq'd some pork and made pulled pork sandwiches.  OH YUM.  We played alot of volleyball, basketball, ultimate football, washers.  We danced, sang and had a lot of fun.  We also had our yearly talent show.  Even though this talent didn't happen at the actual talent show.....I loved it when Don played the guitar and Rachel sang White Horse by Taylor Swift.  Almost all of our guests were able to see it the next morning when Don was feeling better.
