NO we are not cleaning the floor. I guess the dishwasher really is broken. :)
But I am telling you that we are all learning that we took our dishwasher for granted. After each meal we fill up our sink with soapy water and everyone does their own dishes. We pull up a stool and even the little ones do it. They actually LOVE it. No one has complained yet. They are used to loading and unloading the dishes but this is a new chore that is still a bit fun. Just give em some time. Won't take long before they want a new dishwasher.
All I will say about this mess is that I AM NOT THE ONE that is losing wife points here. Let's just say the husband needs to rack up a few to make up for this. I refuse to say anything more.

That seriously looks like someone put regular dishwashing soap in the dishwasher! So sorry, my hands love my dishwasher....I have the worse skin and with this dry air we live in now, I wouldn't last too long having to do dishes 3 times a day! Whatever happened, so sorry, appliance failure is aggrevating at best!
I tried to be helpful when I was younger and put regular dish soap (a lot of it) and when this happened (times 10) I cried and my dad laughed really hard. I am grateful he laughed and didn't get mad. Brings me back some fun memories!
LOL!!I'm sorry to laugh Lisa but that will be such a funny memory later on in life!!
This has not happened at our house yet, but I can totally see it in our future. That had to have been fun to clean up. :)
